Flycon 2009

Flycon is an online international SF convention, happening in March. So much is happening in March!

Right now the program is being developed. There are places in the Flycon community where you can suggest programs and, very importantly, places where you can say "I would like to be in this one." We need lots of volunteers to help out with other stuff (most of the volunteer work is for panels and chats and helping novices, but you can volunteer to hang round in an online lounge for hours at stretch, if you want: you get to drink, chat up passers-by, and evict trolls and other undesirables.) You can even organise your own sessions and send them in for posting on the main timetable.

The panels are here and the overall Flycon community is here. This is open to everyone, from across the globe. Twenty-four hours a day for a whole weekend.

PS I'll do you the bushranger post later, when things are calmer. Right now I'm racing round like a chook with its head cut off. My next visit is to the chemist - yep, I'm back on the cortisone.

(no subject)

A thunderstorm is coming, so I shall be off the computer for a bit. If it goes in time, then you will get the bushranger count tonight. If I fall asleep, then you must wait until tomorrow.

This is patently unfair. I know it.

To atone, I shall write you my very first (and probably my only ever) piece of apocalyptic micro-micro-fiction.

"All dead!"

There, wasn't that exciting? I dare you to enliven the comments with more apocalyptic micro-micro-fiction.

Extra points for rhyme.
