At this rate I will have listed all my personal possessions online by the end of May. Just for the record
tabra tagged me this time. I have dumped the last question: I don't feel like naming names. (I wish I knew how to do accents in LJ - 'meme' needs to be put back into French - my mind hungers for it to have a circumflex on the first e. This is despite knowing it has taken on a different meaning and is now part of blogger dialect - I still keep wanting that accent.)
1) Total number of books owned?
I lost count at 5000. Sorry.
2) The last book I bought?
The CSFG Gastronomicon edited by Stuart Barrow
3) The last book I read? Fully or tried?
I read four books at once. The last lot was Peter Raftos "The Stone Ship", Jennifer Fallon "Medalon", Kim Wilkins "The Autumn Castle and Hugh of St Victor "Didascalicon". I read every word of all of them, so there. Actually, it wasn't hard - they were a fun set of books.
4) 5 books that mean a lot to me?
Eek. Five books. I am not sure I can do five books. Maybe I can do five authors, but they will be a different set in a few days time.
My mood of the day says Patricia McKillip, Susan Cooper, Elizbeth Chadwick, Brian Wainwright and Maxine McArthur. If I had been answering this yesterday when I was a bit more inclined to horror, I would have to replace Brian Wainwright with Kaaron Warren.
