Never show off. My computer took yesterday's swank to heart and has decided to sulk. Not only does it reboot itself, it tells me a driver is responsible and I should update the driver, it won't tell me which driver and it also has done some strange things to occasional files.

The strange things to occasional files bit has impeded me doing a backup, and until I have a full backup of all my work I can't restore to an older state. Not that restoring is necessarily a solution, but it is the only safe thing I know. I have the sneaking suspicion I need an expert. I am going to have a chocolate, have a cup of coffee, delete or modify the corrupt folders (which thank goodness were nothing crucial), finish the backup and try the restore thing. If I never appear again, you know the computer swallowed me...
