"Safe" is a relative word. None of my friends have lost their lives. Most of them hae lost everything they own. And that whole southern seaboard more and more esembles Atlantis.

I am being kept more up to date than the news here allows (having a Southern publisher an' all) and we don't know a tenth of how dreadful it is, in Australia.
