My quandary-of-the-second is what a half-grown cat called "Stuff" would look like. And is it a male or female name?

Bad puns will be treated with disdain. And I will grow past this overwhelming problem and do a proper post later. Right now I am fudging the code for a quiz for Tansy. By fudging, I mean I am carefuly ensuring that no matter what you answer, your result is Clodia. Just don't tell Tansy, please. I think she would prefer all results turning to Livia.

I have still got about 4 things to do today, but I am having a break. I have worked over 8 hours without more than 3 mins off every three hours, which is really stupid, but it has meant I have done lots and lots of my lists and there is a chance of being able to take off on Thursday with a sense of being finished some things.

My travel grant came through today, so I am through my financial woes for another little while. A tiny corner of my mind says "I get to eat in restaurants in Brisbane" and wants to go 'woo-hoo'. Another corner of my mind (as ever, my mind wants to go in all kinds of directions) says "Need more culinary history: my life is incomplete." A third segment of my life is wondering if I am going to stop long enough to eat dinner. Since all corners of my mind are obviously food-obsessed, I will stop for dinner. And I have decided I will not only do that, I will watch TV for a bit. Then I'll come back online and finish with all my current book reviews and do the update for the Canberra Spec. Fiction Guild bibliography. And then I get to curl up into a little ball and pretend that work doesn't exist. Till tomorrow.
