May. 29th, 2006 02:24 pmI slept 14 hours last night. Not chipper yet, but I have done a tiny bit of housework to prove I am awake.
A rush of phonecalls and emails today have changed my diary for the coming fortnight so I need to do one of those "You can find me here" posts. Some of my world is still pear-shaped - other bits are just fine.
Tomorrow morning you can find me on ABC radio (666 - number of the Canberra) at 11.45 am, talking about Medieval towns. I am to bring my map!!
On Friday night I am one of three guest speakers for the Jewish community. I get to talk about favourite Jewish medieval women. Licoricia's moment is nigh! If anyone else has favourite medieval Jewish woman they feel need a moment in the sun, just say.
Sunday I am at Tuggeranong Library giving teens (and a couple of pre-teens) a workshop in Medieval towns. There are still a few places open in this workshop. If you're Grade 6-10 and interested, ring the ACT Writers' Centre.
And after that is Conflux.
PS The reason for the grand theme to the week is that a buzz arose from Brisbane, so I am reaping the rewards of my Conjure workshop and panels. Because I started off this week rather past exhaustion, I will be tempering all these amazing events with early nights. Dull, but worth it for the opportunity to bring my map into the ABC and make my Tenterfield joke.
