It's not people's country or culture of origin. Nor is it someone's political persuasion or their public polemic. It's a very specific freedom and something that becomes more and more important as we fixate on country and culture of origin, on political persuasion and on public polemic. True academic freedom keeps us all thinking and learning and growing towards understanding.
