Nov. 16th, 2006 04:22 pmA half hour ago I discovered that I will be entirely unavailable round the 1 December for three days for reasons that are entirely PC. I might wait a week before I tell you what I'm doing. Build up your anticipation. Or build up your annoyance. I can tell you that I will be enjoying myself. And I can tell you I will be eating cherries tonight, which is entirely irrelevant.
In other news, I got given a lovely new showerhead today by the NSW Government. Not that I live in NSW, but if they weren't worried by this then I wasn't. Alas, for good intentions and government freebies, my old showerhead has been up so long I can't take it down. The next friend to visit who has stronger wrists than me might find themselves struggling with an old showerhead :). The new one is much prettier than the old one.
I also have 6 lovely new lightbulbs and a brown paper showbag. And I got fed bread-and-butter pudding and Earl Grey tea at a tutor's meeting at Beaver Galleries (I skipped breakfast so it could be brunch and suddenly find myself wondering how early dinner can be).
I keep thinking that the day is only half over and I *still* have space for more fun things to happen.
