Mar. 4th, 2007 11:12 pmNo more homemade Tia Maria: all gone. No more low calorie homemade Tia Maria. Also all gone. Not much blackberry liqueur left and no lemon fizzy left.
None of us got drunk, but I think we all had a good time. I know I did. We had poppy seed cake thanks to Jane, which meant that mohn was on the table which meant the table felt like Purim. I especially appreciated this because I didn't end up making hamentaschen after all. I worked instead of cooked and got rid of a little of my horrendous backlog. (I'm not yet emerged from the pain zone, but the less backlog there is when I finally do emerge the more likely it is I'll get some solid work done.) I worked then played, which is rather an unusual sequence for me. Normally I play at working.
I got to show off my four new teeth. (I blogged about my new teeth the other day and they went unremarked upon, so it was absolutely incumbent upon me to show them off.) Between my new teeth and my father's disarticulated skull I was beginning to think I had entirely different fetishes from the ones I actually do have. I'll leave that to friends to sort out.
