Canberra Speculative Fiction Guild is a wondrously civilised organisation. Imagine a committee meeting that lasts less than an hour, that is accompanied by chocolate cake, gourmet cheese, grapes and good tea and that finishes with a showing of baby photos. That was tonight. I got home in *heaps* of time for Heroes.
My biggest problem tonight is what to do in two weeks. May I remind fellow Australians that I've given you the day off work in my honour (and Maxine McArthur's, but Maxine is younger than me, so I can claim precedence for fully three seconds)? I don't know what to do with my day off. I have no idea what I'm doing on my birthday. Apart from watching Heroes. Maybe I should play two-up and watch Heroes?
I'm open to suggestions.
