This is a gratuitous announcement of the "you know you're bored so vote for me" kind. I've been nominated for things before and not posted buttons to click, but today I am in that kind of mood.

This blog has been nominated (and got not much love) and my food blog has been even more nominated and actually attracted a few votes in the Blogger's Choice Awards. I thought I would give you the pretty buttons and encourage you to register and visit blogs and generally have a fine time. I don't think there are any prizes for this - not for bloggers nor readers of blogs, except you get to meet more blogs.

Teaching is over for the term. For the next few days I can structure my time as suits me. So what do I do with it? Attend meetings. Someone reassure me that non-teaching is just as much fun as teaching, please. If I get time, I'll write fiction. In between meetings...
