Jun. 2nd, 2007 04:54 pmStill in tired-zone. Also still in a 'Wow, that's on virulent virus" zone. Three of my rearranged students were too sick to come to the rearranged workshop and there will be more phonecalls on Monday.
The workshop itself went well, despite the loss of students to winter. We talked about writing and about history and about why historians often have problems with people who say "I need this exact piece of information from you now." I lost the URL for the article I wanted to send the students towards and we ran out of time near the end, which is about par for teaching when I am not quite well, but overall, it all worked.
Tonight I've given my body strict instructions to behave. If it behaves till midnight tonight, I'll let it stay in bed as much of Sunday as it needs. I want to go out to dinner, you see. I also want to do some advance posting on my food blog so I can go to Convergence without having to panic about computer access. Mostly, though, I want to sit by the heater and read a good book.
