Jun. 13th, 2007 11:19 pmI stopped reporting on Convergence when everyone else started. There are just *so* many reports out there that I felt as if I was gilding the lily. You'll get a report summary with the Australian Speculative Fiction Blog Carnival, I suspect, if ever I wake up enough to remind the host for this month that it's due Friday.
I came home yesterday and then I taught. And then I taught again this morning. And then I slept and I intend to sleep again in a very few monutes. Tomorrow I start preparing for a full weekend of teaching worldbuilding. I suspect this means I will never actually feel energetic again.
Convergence was worth it though. I had such a totally wonderful time. My only regrets are that I didn't get to more panels and that I didn't get more time with more friends. The only way I could have done either was with more hours in a day, which ought to have been possible with all the science fiction writers round, but which didn't happen.
On a more practical note, I just got some fresh coffee in to see me through winter (Mocha Harar, Nicaraguan Maragogype and a superb Yemeni bean). Give me a few days to catch up on sleep then demand a cup. If you're not in Canberra I will drink it for you and give you tasting notes.
