Jul. 28th, 2007 05:34 pmTo fill a moment sandwiched between a rush of activities (today is so busy I didn't get lunch til after 4 pm), you need an anecdote from today's class.
one of my students told another (when asked a secret) "If I told you I'd have to kill you." The answer was very prompt, "Oh, that's evil. Will you be my new best friend." They sealed the deal with a handshake. The boys were on the other side of the table, and ignored the whole episode. One of them was making the coolest amulet I've ever seen, using a dead pepsi can. The other was working out how to ameliorate the pain in a cursed arm.
And that about sums up today's teaching :).
