Aug. 11th, 2007 02:57 pmI'm feeling a bit glum today for a whole bunch of reasons beyond my control. I was trying to think how I could cheer up and I wondered if I did one of those posts that invited friends to say nice things about me, if that would do the trick. It won't. You can say all the nice things you like, but I'm not going to invite them. It's that sort of glum.
Instead, I'm going to do one of those occasional "Do you have any questions you want to ask me?" posts. I'll answer all the questions I can answer (if you want I can invent answers for the others, but I'd rather just say "I don't know") to any questions asked before Monday. The thread can be alive for as long as you want, but I'm only answering questions asked before Monday. If no-one asks questions then, as usual, I'll take that as no-one having anything Medievalish, novelish, anything-elsish to ask. Some things are out of bounds: I can't give opinions on books I'm reading for the Aurealis, for instance. I won't give you 3 hours worth of answers, either - this is the place for the short and the sweet.
For anyone new to the blog, I do this when the fit takes me, and normally I post some sort of bio. The bio doesn't seem to make any difference to questions asked, so I'll skip that this time. After all, your questions can always start with delving into my long and obscure background, if you're truly curious.
I just realised, that no-one has ever asked me questions as part of their background preparation for a Medieval vampire novel. Maybe this time will be the first.
