Sep. 17th, 2007 07:09 pmToday was just about perfect. My parents and I took a foodie tour (a cook's tour?) of the Yarra Valley. We didn't do much, but what we did was of extraordinary joy and I will write about it in my other blog.
When we got home, my nieces came over and we picked up where we left of with The Phantom. I murmured to them that we might have to pretend there was a portcullis to stir their grandmother when lo, a portcullis appeared. We called Mum and she came in to check it out. She took one look at the screen and yes, it was the exact episode she saw during World War II. She had just about the biggest smile in the universe. We watched the whole of the subsequent episode with her and she was radiantly happy.
