Oct. 7th, 2007 04:17 pmThe Australian Speculative Fiction Blog Carnival is coming up. In fact, it's a week from today and neither Philologa nor I will be near a computer that day. I need to get all links to
eneit (I think it's Sharyn's turn to host - Sharyn you might have to jump up and down and scream very loudly if it isn't) by Thursday night.
First of all if you have come across any cool bloglinks that say anything about Australian fiction or fiction written by Australians or were written by Australian writers or Aussie bloggers or written by other bloggers about Australia, Philologa will be forever in your debt if you emailed them to philologa(at)gmail(dot)com. She won't just be in your debt, she will be chipper and merry, because fictional characters need sustenance too. (If she terrifies you - as she can - then you can send links to me.)
Secondly, last time we had a post-con carnival, there was a bunch of convention reports. It was my turn to host and I simply linked to a very long list. A very, very long list. I would like to send Sharyn an annotated list (less long) that has all the best of the convention reports. If you know of one or wrote one and it has really good reporting, or cool pictures, or is very funny, please email it to one of us or talk about it in the comments to this post.
Thank you! (end of public service section of my day - now I go back to regular programming - at this moment regular programming is wrestling to get hold of my US pay)
