Nov. 10th, 2007 12:02 pmMy eyes started working properly again last night and this morning was devoted to sorting out some of my little backlogs. I still have 20 emails to deal with (just hang in there if one of them is yours), a little Aurealis stuff and some very stiff muscles.
I'm truly sorry for the strangeness of yesterday's post. My brain wasn't nearly as in gear as I thought it was. I did one useful thing when my brain was not in gear. I know what food I will be serving election night. Since I have no idea how many people are coming (two or ten) and I need food to match various dietary restrictions and it needs to be almost work-free in case I have a bad day, this wasn't nearly as simple as it sounds. The problem is that when I get a bad week (like this one) the next few weeks are also likely to be less-than-wonderful. Anyway, it's done. I need to buy a big bag of nice corn chips and a few ingredients and all will be ready the day before, except for stuff that can be baked at the last minute and is already in my freezer (how I deal with unknown numbers). So now that can wait for nearly two weeks - one less thing to worry about.
Drabbit, my brain is still not functional. I keep thinking about food. Maybe it's lunch time?
