My place, election-watch, Saturday.
Nov. 20th, 2007 09:27 amGiven the statistics and the number of people interested in goings on the tally room (in Canberra as a whole) Im going to suggest that anyone interested in going there be at my place as soon as possible after the polls shut or make their way directly to the tally room and meet us there (if you all make your way directly, I'll be bussing and it takes an hour and a half by bus). I've been keeping an ear out and it sounds as if the queues will be quite long and if we're at EPIC by 6.30 we can be back at a respectable hour.
For anyone *not* going to the tally room, things start at my place c 8 pm (or as soon as we're back from EPIC). If the queues at EPIC are impossibly long, go round to my back patio area where you find nibbles and chairs and my very intelligent tomato plant to keep you company.
