Dec. 17th, 2007 04:54 pmI've often wondered what New Year's resolutions do we want from other people. If you got to choose my 2008 resolutions for me, what would they be?
I'm not promising anything, mind - it's just that I read a Dimsie book last night for the first time ever and she seemed like a NY resolution-for-others type, so I got curious.
Why Dimsie? I keep telling folks that writers and historians need to read very broadly to understand themselves and their work better, and it struck me that it was a long time since I've read a schoolbook. Anyone local may borrow the Dimsie book and change their universes, too. this excludes Donna, of course.
Donna already lives in the Dimsie universe and is probably Dimsie herself, all grown up. If you find me sprawled on my couch, dead by Donna's hand, and clutching the single and solitary Dimsie book I own, don't panic too much: I've decided that anyone who murders me for my fabulous taste in books will be haunted.
If anyone wants to write a Dimsie vampire romance, I promise to read it.
If anyone wants to tell me which book-universe I live in (instead of doing NY resolutions) I reserve the right to stir.
