(no subject)

I'm working through a list today, and one of the things on it was writing a post about things I'm doing over the next few months and stuff you all need to know (eg Dymocks Beclonnen sold out of my book and don't think they'll order it back in because, selling out of their copies twice in two months isn't an indicator of anyone wanting to buy and really, I need to speak to the manager if I want to talk about such things). I've thought about it and decided that I'm too grumpy today, since last night was full of not-much-sleep, and besides, I'd rather hear from my friends. Given that I'm grumpy, you'd probably rather hear from everyone else.

So, if any of you have interesting events in your corner of the world, or books coming out, or cover art to admire, or a strange new comic strip to extol, or friends' books coming out, or stuff that needs voting for, or subscriptions that are demanding to be purchased, or a book you've read that other people really have to know about, or anything, really, that you'd like to announce, please leave a comment. It doesn't have to be related to speculative fiction.

I'll give you the first event to start the ball rolling. There's a Jewish Food Fair in Canberra on 6 April. I'm not cooking (though I have some years) which makes the food all the better.
