Apr. 10th, 2008 12:24 pmThe virus lingers, but I think it's going. I still sleep half the day, but last night I was alert (on and off) for a meeting that went late into the evening. I managed to sort out more of my second half year teaching, in the interstices. This is just as well, because tonight I teach for 3 hours and Saturday I have a meeting (also Monday). I might have another meeting in the next three days, too. And I'm in pre-Passover mode.
This is when I'm really, really grateful that I bought my presents early and that they're mostly packed! I'm also very grateful for the friends who lend me various items from their collections (especially Promethea, which I get to keep - yay!!!). It means when I'm not quite well enough to do anything and not quite ill enough to sleep, I can watch TV or further my knowledge of female superheroes.
What else is happening in the life of Gillian? Conflux is happening. Conflux is happening in a rather bigger way than I intended.
Also, I'm full of secret knowledge. I shall leak it to the world as the knowledge comes of age. This means that you may have to a dull blog while I walk about in a post-viral daydream, but one day things shall sparkle again. Or I'll become impasssioned, the way I did the other day. Either way, life will be more interesting for my blogfriends.
