Aug. 12th, 2008 09:13 pmI need another cup of tea. This is because wherever I go, I discover that my use of the English language is aberrant. I don't want to 'split hares' (which seems a bit of a bloody business) or to 'tow the line.'
In other non-news, the second foray my class was going to make into the the realm of rhyming slang has to be postponed a fortnight. It appears the Mental Health Week deadlines are upon us and we have to provide content for the ACT booklet at once. I have packed my Life Journal exemplar to help encourage new pieces where we need new pieces. This year I might even offer to type up short pieces, just because our deadlines are so tight.
I have other tight deadlines, too, but I'm carefully not looking at the paper that lists them. That'll teach me.
