How long is it since I've given a list of what I'm reading?

These are the writers I'm spending time with this week: 9 books altogether. When I finish the Roth, though, I'll have a whole bunch of new books.Mum's library has different books to mine, which is why I tend to post these lists from Melbourne.

Judith Sackville-O'Donnell
Ursula le Guin
Philip Roth
Philip Pulman
Ambrose Bierce
Glenda Larke
Susan Price

Today is market day and quiet day. Tomorrow is just quiet day. This is because I took the last of the cortisone today and don't need to take any more for two full weeks. I'm going to find out just how recalcitrant the inflammation is, basically. Hopefully, it's wimpish.

I have a Dr Who question.

For reasons beyond my control, I missed Dr Who last week and my plans to catch up on it today had to be abandoned when urgent work intervened. This is not good - Dr Who is the only thing I *never* miss and one of only 2 TV programs I watch regularly - I'm not happy about it, but when I say 'urgent' I mean something that couldn't wait even an hour and other things had already cropped up (smashed eggs!!) and we only had that hour to play with.

Anyhow, Dr Who was the first of a two-parter. should I just hope that I can sort out what happened this week and watch as usual? Or should I go into deep mourning and give them both a miss? And does anyone want a half dozen very smashed eggs?
