A silly post before the serious one. I want to send a letter of greeting to Lego. I hadn't realised that they were here from an alternate universe until a_d_medievalist alerted me to this. Anyone from that universe needs a special welcome into ours, I think.

And now for a brief moment of seriousness.

I'd like to apologise for anything I have done this last year to hurt any of you, whether it was intentional or unintentional, with word, look or any other means. I don't think I've tried to hurt anyone, but that doesn't mean I didn't and tonight is Yom Kippur and it's almost past time for me to apologise.

May anyone Jewish reading this be well over the Fast and be inscribed in all the right places and have a wonderful year.
