My weather sense is so much more accurate than the Bureau of Meteorology predictions. You'd think I'd know this by now. You'd also think I would stop trying to work through impending storms. Well, I know nothing.

That's not strictly true. I know that the female of Baker is Baxter and that guarana enables work to continue through most migraines. I know that Michael Chabon's Jewish Alaska is a strange place which has almost nothing in common with Anglo-Australian Judaism and that I'm very glad about this. I know that I am near the end of pretending I'm an editor and will soon pretend to be a writer and that I edited one of my own stories today, just to see if the transition would be easy.

I even learned something this week, which means my knowledge is unbounded. I learned what words kids sing to Advance Australia Fair (the song of my childhood was God Save the Queen - we used to sing "God Save our Biscuit Tin. Don't let the flies get in"): Australians all will just ring Joyce, for she is young and free."

Maybe my knowledge isn't unbounded. Maybe it's just unbounded by logic.
