Dec. 18th, 2008 12:40 pmFinally, a practical guide to gift-giving for Chanukah. And only three days left before everyone walks into my flat and realises I haven't done any housework....
On a plus note, today I hurt less than yesterday so maybe I'll get a few things done. It would be nice if I could find my menu and shopping lists, for instance. At the very least I could stop laughing about the chocolate I made the other day. It tastes fine, but oh, does it look awful. I'm giving it to friends anyhow, because there's no time and no energy for a new batch.
Also, I'm going to the Art Gallery this afternoon. No-one can send me Important Emails that Have to Be Dealt with Now if I'm at the Art Gallery. Well, they can, but I won't see them.
Tomorrow I'm taking time out to see Kaaron Warren. It also means I shall finally get to the post office. Three times I have scheduled that post office trip and three times my health has snuck in front of me and told me "You'll pay for this." It would be easier if going to the post office didn't involve walking so far or if I were stil teaching (during termtime I can go after Wednesday's class - much easier).
I do hope you don't want an intelligent post today. Intelligence is beyond me. Sleep isn't. Sleep is quite definitely within my grasp.
ETA: Art Gallery has been postponed until I'm a bit more physically capable. Please delay Important Emails that Have to Be dealt with Now by a couple of hours so that at least I get the pretence of time out. If you don't, I shan't give you chocolate. Or maybe I will only give you strange-looking sad chocolate.
