Jan. 24th, 2009 03:30 pmI'm home.
I was going to give you a post all about Les, but I find I can't write it yet. So much to write and all the energy drains out of me when I try. Maybe one day.
Thank you for all your wishes. They helped me through a terrible time.
A couple of you have asked if you can help with groceries and things. I really appreciate the offers, but my brain is just not enough in gear to make lists. I'm dealing well with a whole bunch of things, but thinking about food is a struggle.
I do have enough milk and chocolate so anyone who wants to drop in tomorrow or Monday or even Tuesday (not before midday) is entirely welcome. In fact, please do: it will keep me from moping. If you come, the traditional greeting is 'long life' - and if you come I shall be very pleased to see you. I really wanted to be with my family a few more days, and it just wasn't possible and if one can't be with family, then being with friends is a very good substitute.
I'm supposed to be seeing (and want to see) Llyn and Iain, but can't seem to get in touch with them. So they may be there or they may not, depending on our ability to find each other on the net or by phone.
If anyone wants to know details of what happened this last week, just ask. I'm not reluctant to talk about it - I'm just reluctant to make everyone share stuff that was really pretty traumatic.
