(no subject)

I have a Conflux meeting today. I did all my stuff for the banquet (we have a draft menu!!!) before I went to Melbourne and I have completly forgotten everything else. In other words, I am going to the meeting entirely unprepared. This is way dangerous. When I'm entirely unprepared I am in danger of volunteering for things. I shall try to restrain myself.

While I'm thinking of SF stuff, Aussies ought to look at the Dittmar classifications this year and nominate people and stories and art for everything they can possibly think of. I'm not making any recommendations, because I would like to see a rather larger spectrum of fan and professional activity shortlisted than normally happens. Llyn has kindly offered afternoon tea and open house to anyone who wants to see me on Saturday. It'll be between 1 pm and 5 pm. Contact me for an address. There will be birthday cake!

If you aren't sure we know each other well enough (you read my blog but aren't sure how well I know you, for instance) and want to come, then you really should come. How else will you find out if we like the same cake?
