It's lunchtime and still only 2 degrees outside. I wore ordinary clothes all morning (which is just as well, because lots of people stopped by - one even had a coffee) but now I have decided that pyjamas are the way to go, and my blue slippers. I look strange, but I almost feel up to doing stuff. Just nothing that will take me outide, where even purple and flowery flannel pyjamas and a pink cotton top won't protect me.

I've got edits to send on a story today and edits to do on another story. I have to do the nit-picky bits of my class's project, finish with a piece of NF and start edits on another.

This 'other' is an academic one and has been accepted into a refereed journal. I wrote it for [livejournal.com profile] yasminke so you can blame her for my increasing academic credibility. Something the journal wants is an explanation of kosher-related agribusiness in Australia. There is such a thing, but it's very small scale, and it certainly didn't exist until recently. I need to find a way of saying this that doesn't look as if I'm laughing myself silly over it. Which I am. Jewish agribusiness in Australia? Do olive groves 3/4 of a century ago count?

What else am I doing? Too much. Don't want to think about it. I'm going to put my blue fluffy slippers back on, power up G'eeek and do some of it in front of TV. That way it can be the day off one has when one doesn't have a day off. And I'm going to unfreeze the last of my chicken soup and have lunch. All of this at once - that should make me feel less chilled.
