It's 3.6 degrees outside and my food history blog is still down.

That sounds as if I'm miserable, doesn't it? The truth is in the subtext. I'm about to have a lovely scented bath, and gorgeous guest posts from Alma Alexander are awaiting my readers the moment the Food History site owners get things sorted. Also, I was given the ISBN for Life Through Cellophane today, and now a request for an updated bio for my next short story.

I hate writing bios, so the fact that one is needed is way more interesting than the fact that I must now write it.

I haven't talked much about the story, because everything else became a bit overwhelming. It's coming out the same time as one of my novels, but there's no co-incidence involved at all. It's a part of In Bad Dreams 2, which shares the launch spot at Conflux. It's my 13th published short story, and it's horror.

That reminds me: I need to devise a launch invitation for my students. Their booklet comes forth way before anything of mine.

And that's it from me tonight. Back to watching X-Files. I'm up to Season 6 and the series has discovered a sense of humour. The good thing about all this bad health is that I get to see massive amounts of TV series, in big hits. I'm informally tracking themes and patterns. I'm up to the stage that, when I finally come across something rather new, I want to applaud. I also applaud for cool writing, exceptional camera work and showing FBI offices with proper lighting.

After Continuum, if the health refuses to behave properly still (which is likely) I'm hoping to see more anime.
