Sparkling WIT
Aug. 5th, 2009 03:26 pmThis morning was full of happiness. I walked into class to find my students sitting down, surrounded by piles of of their own books. I asked for leave to invite blogfriends to the launch and to offer a single copy of their book.
If you have an interest in creative writing and mental illness, then this is definitely of interest. My students did their own art and wrote the whole lot and did a bunch of the design work to boot. if you comment on this post I'll put your name in a hat and draw it the day of the launch. It's a small print run and won't be available in shops. I'm happy to post it overseas.
My students now have a group name: Writers in Tuggeranong. One of them instantly put it on his workbook: WIT.
Marcus (a different student) gave me permission to blog the poem of his that gave the volume its title.
