Aug. 7th, 2009 04:02 pmI'm still viral and so still watching the X-Files. A character just said "He believes in supreme power coming from the Divinyls." Any other interpretation (power coming from the Divine, for instance) is just an obvious statement of religious belief and not worth wasting words on.
I am working today, in between fits of aural distortion. There are three writers who probably wish I wasn't working, as my editing comments are even funkier than usual. Two nights solid sleep does that to a brain, when it's used to 24 hours of wakefulness. I do find it entertaining that I act perfectly sane when not sleeping at all and turn to strangeness when I can sleep. For this reason alone, I rather like this little virus. I could wish for less coughing and sinus pain, but apart from that, it's a friendly little critter and no worse than the every aches from my various whichevers. And it gives me awesome dreams.
Last night's best one was entirely metaphoric and the metaphors were all expressed by food and old friends. Kazuko and Rico and Yukiko, if you're out there and reading my blog, I'm dreaming of you. I'm also interpreting you as I dream. I have no idea if this should worry you or not.
