Dec. 14th, 2009 11:24 amI have three reviews to write this week, maybe four, and then I shall have run out, entirely.
girliejones worried about the length of Brandon Sanderson's next volume to Jordan's Wheel of Time, but it just arrived in the mail and it doesn't look bad, and I've decided I can finish it along with my belated scholarly reviews, before the end of Chanukah. This is a quiet week and perfect for such endeavours. If I run out of review before Saturday, then I'll do the oustanding Angry Robot one. Then I can look for other things I need to catch up on. All reminders gratefully accepted!
Before I can start the Wheel of Time book, I need to finish at least one (and preferably both) of my books from yesterday. One is the 3rd Princess of Roumania book, and the other is a Laurell K Hamilton.
I have such a big year ahead, I want to get some good reading in now and clear my brain of its cobwebs. I also want to clear the stacks of books in my bedroom (reading stacks) and put them in the library (putting away stacks). In a perfect world (alas, perfect worlds are but dreams) a bored teenager would spend their summer fixing the disorder and finding room for things. It happened once, about fifteen years ago, and ever since then I have dreamed of it happening again. Every other year, i've fixed it myself, and I just can't face it this year. I'd rather read more books, and that's what I'm doing.
