Jan. 9th, 2010 10:07 pmI can't think of anything I want to say. Forms and summaries and notes and sorting out my life so I have some clarity when I visit my fathers: all these have drained me of thinking.
I have a new icon for FB. This means I'm finally in a position where I can decide all over again if I should put an icon in LJ or not. If friends want me to, I shall.
While I remember, thank you everyone for those book recommendations. They're a very good start. I shall use them to create a proper bibliography. Then I might have to start reading them. What a hard life it is, reading books.
Another 'while I remember': If even 3/4 of the stuff planned for this year goes ahead, I'm going to be very, very busy from late January. If you're supposed to be sending me something, getting it to me in the next 24 hours is your best bet for avoiding massive delays. Though I'm rather hoping that proofreading and crtis and stuff comes by tomorrow lunchtime, because otherwise it's going to be done in the car on the way to the cemetery. My family won't like it. I won't like it. But that's the next place I'll have time, after Monday.
PS I will be writing fiction this year, but it's probably going to be something I've not really talked about because I didn't intend writing it. If all my forms get accepted, that is. Give me a few weeks and then a lot of my news will emerge at once. At that moment, I would ask you kindly if you could please refrain from laughing. Or even smirking.
PPS I shall try to return to normal (and be less boring) soon. If anyone wants to dive into the sun and rescue my melted brain, that time will arrive much faster.
