Question thread

I forgot to blog yesterday and today. Things are just a bit busy. Nice-busy, with lots of interesting people to see (mainly writers) and lots of interesting things to do (mainly writing).

Also, I keep bugging Lara about astronomy. Does anyone want to keep Lara company and be asked annoying questions by me? I am totally full of annoying questions (and lots of other things) and very happy to share them.

I guess that means it's time to even things up. Open question thread here. Till Sunday. The usual rules apply. If you can't remember them, just ask. If you want more interesting rules (that you should wear purple while asking questions, for instance) you can make them up yourselves.

I'm back in the land of historical food for a few days. I've two deadlines (one for page count and the other for emeting with the food artist) for the Conflux cookbook. This is when we work out teh shape of the thing and just what goes into it. I was hoping the bulk of the work would happen after AussieCon and, indeed, had planned other work for the next few days, but life gets in the way of such plans.

After spending 3 hours on the Jane Austen period food, I'm positive my waistline grew by 14 inches. Those desserts were delectable. What I want right now is peach icecream with a serve of taht raspberry cream. Or maybe some moonlight pudding.
