What can one do in Canberra on the Sunday morning after the election?

One can listen to Kaaron Warren and myself, talking about Baggage and possibly other things. Local ABC radio at around 10 am. It should be possible to listen through a computer, if you're a fan of Kaaron's and not local to Canberra.

I did a bit of a doubletake halfway through the conversation where this was being sorted. "I just realised," I explained to Kate, the person in question, "How surreal it is to be talking to someone from the ABC the day before the Federal election and for the conversation to be about a new anthology."

Now I have to check bus timetables. Tomorrow's, for my workshop at the library, the rendez-vous with daleks and meeting up with Kaaron to vote and to sell cakes Then for Sunday, so I can get to the ABC.

I mislaid my boring life a little while ago. I don't think I'll go looking for it quite yet.

Just when you thought it was safe...

Because I did the election cake thing so very completely last election, this election Melbourne writer Narrelle Harris is blogging it. She has written a very funny commentary on a cake recipe I gave her: http://narrellemharris.wordpress.com/2010/08/20/wheres-the-pound-of-flesh/

And there's just time to get that cake in the oven, before we all go vote, tomorrow.
