I decided to ignore the tallies on all the news websites today and went straight to the Electoral Commission. There I discovered that all the news websites are still making intelligent guesses. Also, that my vote will be counted this week.

In other words, the AEC hasn't yet counted absentee votes, postal votes and other odds and sods. This used to be a small number of votes, but this year, they say, it's up to 2 million.

We must be really annoying the major parties right now, us Canberrans who voted in Fraser and other odds and sods. There's no predicting what evil things we will do with that right to vote. Wicked decisions, hidden away in envelopes...
