short story

Every couple of years I produce a short story despite myself. This next one will appear in the CSfG's Next anthology, which is also the CSfG's next anthology. The editors have a propensity for punning. There is a long list of writers I am very proud to be on a table of contents with - it's going to be a very good book. In my story I am evil to archaeologists and to those who write modernised fairytales and tales of a simplified fairytale England. I intend to make myself very unpopular with this one.
