Today I actually saw wattle bloom in Cootamundra. Every time I pass through Coota, the wattle trees remain stubbornly green, but today they were gloriously yellow. And Binalong remains one of my favourite towns of NSW, simply because of the number of bad jokes one can form from its name. For instance, it's bin a long, long time since I have been through Binalong.
