Jul. 4th, 2006 07:13 pmRussell finally reporting in. Sorry for the delay, I've been distracted by maps. I'm sure everyone understands.
A bit of a puzzle as to what to write about. I don't have underwear quite as interesting as that worn by Becket, nor do I have an imaginary 'poet' for a cousin. So I'll talk about the Great Lego Tragedy.
Has anyone else noticed that lego sets are much less complicated than they used to be? Where once you made a wall out of ten pieces, it comes ready-made as one piece. Where's the fun in that? When my kids were little I'd send them off to bed so I could make up the models I'd bought them, and there was a lot of enjoyment to be had - some of the little pieces were difficult for my pudgy sausage fingers to manage. But now? Pah. It's a tragedy.
I've made Kaaron a lego birthday cake. I have to take it apart to mail it though. Is that OK, Kaaron? I'll send instructions with it.
And had lego been around all those years ago, Becket might have found a solution for his underwear problem ...
