(no subject)

Today I had a lovely dusk meal with two friends *and* I finished the last of the giant backlog that has been hounding me for weeks. I don't know how these backlogs appear, but I am so pleased to be finally done with sorting this and uploading that and meeting various bods' sudden new requirements that I think I might take another day off tomorrow. I'm seeing more friends in the afternoon, then I'm taking my mother out in the evening. The only must-do workwise is to start looking at a map of Canberra. I want to see if I can turn it Ptolemaic.

Addendum: I keep forgetting to note my holiday reading. Today it was books by Patricia McKillip, Kim Wilkins, Richard Harland and Glenda Larke.
