(no subject)

I have a lovely long list of things that must get done today. None of my own fiction, and not much to do with teaching, either. Today is the day when I finally, finally catch up on a few of those things I have been meaning to do for weeks and weeks but didn't have time to start. I have to diminish that list significantly before I'm allowed up the street because once I'm up the street I will have batteries for my camera and my new camera is so cute I bet I spend much time playing with it. It's a birthday present camera and weighs 27 grams before battery. When it's all powered up I'll let my alien-that-minds-my-keys take charge of it. Ten items must be crossed off my list (no cheating) before the alien gets his camera.
