(no subject)

I was going to give you a salutary tale about hot flushes combined with fever combined with a burned hand and just how much I haven't done with my day, but I ate soursop sweets till I felt better and I'm watching Smallville and life in general is significantly improved. I realised during an online chat that I hurt rather more than I thought and that I really can't type much, so my book reviews will have to wait. I've got my notes for them and the books are read, so it's not the end the universe. What's a bit more sad is that I can't do any fiction this week, for the same reason. Maybe August will do, since my Tuesday Arthurian course has been cancelled.

I am declaring tomorrow a rest day, except for the possible reading of my latest Aurealis books. If anyone wants to windowshop or buy material for Regency sewing, or come on over and eat soursop sweets with me, please give me a hoy. Otherwise I shall do a few messages in Woden and settle down to a day of DVD and books.

ETA: burn close to fixed (the amazing healing properties of pure lavender oil) - the rest of me is still a bit of a mess. I'm taking time out till Thursday lunchtime.
