Sep. 11th, 2007 10:46 pmUntil I opened my email a little while ago, I had a frabjous day.
The emails were less than wonderful (well, mostly). Three different sets of people need meetings. I have been waiting on a returned phonecall for one of these things for months, and it's now that a meeting is required. They know I'm on holiday and they want me to contact them (two sets of them) from my holiday to arrange a meeting upon my return. After Rosh Hashanah is over (ie next weekend) I will email back with some dates.
There were other crises in my email, but I do hope my rather erratic email answers and suggestions will help with them.
What did the frabjous day consist of? Trudi picked me up and we went chocolate hunting. This Conflux's chocolates are mostly ghostly, though there might also be certain other confectionery. There's a lot of it: Trudi's carrying it up for my in my backback (I beleive she's walking - she sets out of Friday). My personal stash of chocolate is packed to go back with me.
In case you needed to know, chocolate-hunting with friends reduces stress and background pain in about equal measure. Catching up on emails in the evening brings the stress levels back up to where they were (alas) but the pain is still diminished. I can't make an equation from it, because I can't work out how much is the reduction in pain is due to chocolate and how much the presence of good friends.
