Nov. 13th, 2007 02:52 pmTonight I'm finishing teaching an overview of the Medieval legal systems as they applied to London and starting on food. All the while I'm going to be haunted by the answers to my last entry.
There are so many different ways we can be imperilled. Too many. We can lose limbs or crucial other body parts. We can lose those without whom our lives taste like ashes. We can lose a part of our minds or our souls - the aspects of ourselves that make even the impossible endurable. The stuff of nightmares - but I'm grateful to everyone for sharing.
I hope the discussion will continue. I've noticed that whenever I put up a new entry most people kinda feel it draws a red line under the old one and they feel they should not cross that line. Please don't draw red lines, especially when what everyone's saying is so interesting!
