The virus is lingering, despite the small rush of energy yesterday*.

Today all I want to do is sleep.

This might be why I have nothing to say today. I'm all virussed out. Jeeves and Wooster is the ticket - or at least my succour, and when I run out of that, I have seasons one and two of The House of Eliot and then I can do a timeshift and watch Crusade again. I don't get to see much before I drift off, but at least sitting up hurts less than lying down.

Yes, I'm whingeing***. Special points for anyone who has noticed. This is a week now and it all should have gone away with the foul Thursday symptoms.

If I find something interesting to say** later in the day, I shall share it with you. I promise. After all, I've shared the misery.

*Actually, it just looked like a small rush. Whenever I had the energy to move, I sat down at the keyboard and did a little blogstuff. It was easier and more fun and more emotionally satisfying than anything else I could have done so tired.

** Note the "to say." There's a bunch of interesting stuff happening, but I can't report on anything till it's finalised. At least one aspect of it might send some of you screaming, which is an entertainment to be coveted.

*** Not even in a kindly way, if you check the footnotes. At least I have enough of my brain back to achieve footnotes. Also to make cups of tea****.

****Buddha's Garden - pouring milk as well as water was beyond my abilities. Later I'll have more energy and make myself coffee*****.

***** Because I can count to five and footnoted footnotes need their own notes, otherwise they feel lonely.
