Memes and lists and blogthings
Oct. 17th, 2008 12:36 amBefore I go to bed, I have something that must be done. It has been fretting me for days. It's all those list and memes and blogthings, you see. I feel the need upon me to do one. Without it, my life is listless, memeless and my blog lacks a thing.
Gillian's crucial list
1. This is the first item in a list of probably ten things.
2. This is the second item in a list of probably ten things.
3. This is the third item in a list of probably ten things.
4. This is the first item in a list of probably ten things. Actually, it's the fourth, but I got lazy with my cutting and pasting.
5. This is the not the sixth item in a list of probably ten things.
6. Gillian is not going to use these words to create number-magic and transform the universe into something curious and very tiny. Even though she was telling her students about such things earlier tonight.
7. No number magic. Really.
8. This is the eighth item in a list of probably ten things.
9. Gillian can count, mostly. Not after midnight. Mostly. Except sheep. She counts sheep very effectively after midnight and puts the final numbers into lists of approximately ten things (that look oddly like sheep).
10. This is the tenth item in a list of probably ten things. Which means the list ends here in a perfect world.
11. OK, so the list wasn't of ten things. Is this a problem?
12. If the list makes it to thirteen does the universe implode?
13. No.
