Nov. 5th, 2008 05:20 pmI just heard myself saying "I'm almost finished."
I have no idea what I'm almost finished with. I hope it is something extraordinary and that I've done it rather well.
What I'm afraid is that it was a delayed statement about broad beans. I finished shelling them a half hour ago, and there are still a couple floating around the kitchen floor. Never shell broad beans on a day where co-ordination cannot be found.
I shall fry my beans in purple garlic and olive oil and they and some chevre shall make a delicious cold lunch tomorrow.
