Nov. 30th, 2008 07:54 amI'm up early because it's market morning, and because it was storm-raddled night. There weren't any actual storms, but thunder loomed ominously and the sudden cessation of its looming, maybe an hour ago, got me up out of bed, bright eyed and bushy tailed. Except I wasn't bright eyed and bushy tailed. Because it was far too early on a Sunday morning.
The good news is that I only have one more bit of paperwork to do because of the short night's sleep and then I shall take the day off. I know I should not be having the day off today. I should be working hard. But the next batch of stuff I need to do for Masques is not in my inbox and my next deadline for anything teaching is way, way away (tomorrow morning). I might even be able to see in my kitchen and use all my taps by the end of the day (all going well), or by tomorrow lunchtime (all going not quite so well). And tonight, I intend to sleep, no matter how much thunder looms. In fact, tonight, thunder can weave blankets and I shall still sleep.
